Wifi sync failing: "unable to connect" although devices visible
I have SplashID Pro 9 with the Pro plan. I have it installed on a Mac and iPhone (both up-to-date OS and app versions), and have been unable to wifi sync for three months now. In the past, I was occasionally able to get it to sync but it has been very sporadic and required multiple tries. Support doesn't seem to be able to help.
I can see the other device (can see the iPhone from Mac, and vice versa), but if I initiate the sync from either device, I get the "Unable to connect. Check that both devices are on the same local network. You can also try toggling the visibility switch OFF and ON in the remove device." Both devices are on the same local network, and are visible to each other within the sync "Discover devices" window. There are no VPNs running on either device. I have toggled the visibility switch, restarted the app, rebooted the devices, and everything else I can think of.
Does anyone have any other suggestions of what I can try to get the wifi sync working? I see that there are no discussions on this community yet but hoping that others will join soon.
