(click the SplashID icon in top left to open the main/Application menu > Backup) Then exit SplashID Desktop PC app. Then rename \Documents\SplashData\SplashID\ to \Documents\SplashData\SplashID.old. That will hide it from the SplashID desktop, but not erase
