Unlike with older 8.4.x apps, with new 9.5.x apps before you change email ID or password in/via one 9.5.x app, you must logout of all other 9.5.x apps.
If you did not do that, one or more of your 9.5.x apps may fail to login after change of email ID or password. This is expected & by design.
If password was changed (and not email ID) you may find some apps not being able to login with both new, as well as old password.
How to fix not being able to login to 1 or more 9.5.x apps after change of email ID or password?
( Please note this only works if some 9.5.x apps login fine.
If it is ALL apps that fail to login, that is another matter. Do not follow steps below and contact our tech support.)
Please try this -->
- Backup data in the working 9.5.x apps - Export to 9.x SVID file from Settings, Import & Export section/tab. This is a backup for safety, just in case.
- Now, for any 9.5.x mobile apps that do not login - quit & delete them. ( making sure not to just hide the mobile app, if using iPhone or iPad )
- For any 9.5.x Desktop app(s) it is more complicated - run 9.5.x PC/Mac Desktop app that won't login.
Do not attempt to login, but click the small Change user button/link instead.
- Now on the next screen, Trash your user name/account via icon for the same. Confirm if asked.
- Then, for 9.5.x mobile app reload/reinstall it from App Store/Play Store, making sure to avoid out other, unrelated 8.4.x & Classic apps.
- Relogin to 9.5.x Desktop app(s) and/or mobile app(s) as applicable.
Login should work fine now. And you can re-enable Biometrics/Windows Hello (PC)/Touch ID (Mac) login/unlock as applicable.
