I'm being forced to set a password in version 7 of SplashID Safe. I never used one before.

A password is required in SplashID Safe version 7 and higher, for authentication and licensing purposes. This is also a practical necessity when it comes to protecting your sensitive data. We recommend setting a strong 8-character password with a combination of letters and numbers.
