Fix SplashID Safe Upgrade Issue – Showing 30-Day Trial Instead of Licensed Account

I upgraded SplashID Safe and now I'm in a 30-day trial

If you upgraded SplashID Safe from a previously licensed version, your license should carry over automatically. In this case, you should continue using your chosen sync method (Cloud Sync, WiFi Sync, or No Sync) without interruption. If you are seeing a 30-day trial message instead, follow the steps below.

Refresh Your License Information

  1. Force close the SplashID app on your iPhone (or iPad):

    • Press the Home button.

    • Double press the Home button to open the app switcher.

    • Tap and hold the SplashID icon.

    • Tap the “X” to close it.

  2. Relaunch the SplashID app. When restarted, the app should connect to the server and refresh your license information automatically.

Check Your Account Status

  • Go to Settings > Account Status & Sync in the SplashID app.

  • Verify your sync method (Cloud Sync, WiFi Sync, or No Sync).

  • Check whether the status shows “Licensed” underneath.

  • If it still shows a Purchase button or indicates that you are on a trial, then the license update did not complete successfully.

Next Steps if Still on Trial

If your license has not refreshed correctly:

  • Please submit a support ticket.

  • Provide the email address linked to your SplashID account, along with any purchase details if available.

  • Our team will update your account and ensure your license is restored.

Trial of SplashID Cloud Services

You may also see a 30-day free trial of SplashID Cloud Services when upgrading. This allows you to test cloud sync features, but if you were previously licensed (Cloud, WiFi, or No Sync), your existing license should still apply.
