How to Reset SplashID Android and Restore Data with WiFi Sync?

Reset SplashID Safe Android - WiFi sync

If you have data stored in your SplashID Desktop app, you can reset your SplashID Android app and restore data from the desktop app by following these steps.

Steps to Reset and Restore

  1. Delete the SplashID Android app and reinstall it to wipe all data.

    • Alternatively, go to System settings > Apps > SplashID > Clear Data.

  2. Open SplashID on your Android device and log in with the same email and password used in your desktop app.

  3. In the SplashID Desktop app, go to Options/Preferences > Account. Under Local WiFi Sync, select Desktop overwrites device and close the settings screen.

  4. Perform a WiFi sync from the Android app with the SplashID Desktop app. Your records will be restored from the desktop app to your Android device.
