SplashID Safe 8.x - Favorites feature

QUESTION #1: I am seeing stars that can be tapped to make them blue in 8.4.x SplashID Safe PC/Mac Desktop/iPhone/iPad/Android/Web apps. What do the stars do and what do they mean?
ANSWER: The stars are for our new Favorites function, added in SplashID Safe 8.1 Desktop/mobile apps, plus Web app - version 8.1 was released in July 2016 for PC/iOS/Android and December 2016 for Mac.
With this function, you can tap/click certain SplashID Safe records of yours to mark them as Favorites.
Currently, the function has been added to our iPhone/iPod touch/iPad app, Android app, PC/Mac Desktop apps, and Web app (for Cloud Sync users). 

QUESTION #2: How do I use Favorites and where can I see a list of my Favorite records?
ANSWER: In Web app (when using Cloud Sync), you can see the Favorites by clicking Favorites in the left pane menu. In the Windows PC/Mac Desktop, iPhone/iPad and Android apps, Favorites can be viewed via the Favorites filter in Category drop-down. If nothing shows when you do this, this means no records have been marked as Favorites yet.

* Can I disable Favorites, so the stars do not show on my mobile/Desktop app?
ANSWER: Currently there is no way to disable Favorites.
