Please note this is a known issue with SplashID Safe 8.4.x record saving, with an easy fix.

Your record likely has a Note only. And/or it lacks a record name, and at least ONE field+field name for it.

The record name is next (right) to the record's icon. The field name #1 is below that, and below that is the actual field #1.

Please make sure to fill in at least these 3 fields/boxes, and then the record should save.

Also, make sure to not enter the fields wrong - field name #1 goes into the exact box for it, and not any other.

Likewise with field #1 - you cannot move it up or down, it goes just below its field name box.

And then your record should save fine, without showing the error.
