Where to Find the SplashID Version 7 Mac OS Data and Backup Folders?

Where is the SplashID version 7 Mac OS data folder?

Data Folder Location

Due to macOS sandboxing requirements, the SplashID Safe version 7 data folder is located at:
~/Library/Containers/com.splashdata.splashidmac/

Backup Folder Location

Backup files are stored in the following sub-directory:
~/Library/Containers/com.splashdata.splashidmac/Data/Library/SplashID Safe/Backup/

Please note that in version 7, due to system restrictions, you cannot change the location of the data folder.

Accessing Hidden Library Folders in macOS

On macOS 10.7 (Lion) or later, the Library folder is hidden by default. To access the data and backup folders:

  1. Open Finder

  2. Click the Go menu and select Go to Folder

  3. Copy and paste the desired full path (shown above) and press Enter
