Then, for only those 9.4.9 apps with corrupted data, Restore to latest good Local Backup, using steps below.
<< Data Restoration Process >>
1) Navigate to Backups: Open the side navigation panel and select the Backups menu.
2) Locate the correct Backup: Select the Local Backup tab. Identify the backup file created before your first Wi-Fi Sync post-update (for most users, this will be dated April 15, 2026).
3) Perform Restore: Tap/click the Restore button associated with that backup and enter your application password to confirm the action.
4) Verify Data Integrity: Once the process is complete, please review your records to ensure all information is displaying correctly.
NOTE: To prevent further data complications, do NOT initiate a Wi-Fi Sync with any other devices once your data is restored until next update is released. This will come Thursday, April 23rd 2026 if all goes to plan.
When it comes, it will get listed here: https://www.splashid.com/splashid-pro-9/release-notes
Please note the new 9.4.10 update will not only fix the WiFi Sync corruption issue - it will automatically restore (decrypt) the encrypted data in one, two or all of your affected 9.4.9 apps.
