WiFi Sync: My Other Devices

WiFi Sync: My Other Devices

Lists all your trusted devices for WiFi sync, along with any new devices discovered on the network.

Refresh

  • Click the refresh icon to re-scan the network and refresh the list of available devices.

  • It looks for devices that are unlocked, running SplashID Pro 9, and signed in with the same user account as this device.

  • Once the refresh is complete, you can click the Sync now button to connect and initiate WiFi sync.

Connect Manually

  • A quick sync option that allows you to enter the IPv4 or IPv6 address of the target device and initiate a WiFi sync directly.

  • You can change the sync direction setting before syncing.

  • If the Sync now button does not find the target device on the network automatically, the app will switch to the Connect manually screen.

  • We recommend using this option as a troubleshooter if the device is not connecting by clicking Sync now or is not discovered using Refresh.

Tips for connecting manually:

  • Tap “Show more” under “This device” on the target device to find its address.

  • For IPv4, the first 3 parts of the address must match your device’s IPv4 address.

  • For IPv6, the first 3 or 4 parts of the address must match your device’s IPv6 address.

Device List

Added Devices (Trusted)

Devices that have been added to your trusted list are shown with the following details:

  • Name — the device name (can be renamed using the edit icon when expanded).

  • Device ID — unique identifier for the device.

  • Last sync time — when the last WiFi sync occurred with this device.

  • Sync now button — shows your device icon, the current sync direction icon, and the other device icon. Click to initiate WiFi sync.

How devices get added:

  • By clicking the + Add button next to a discovered device.

  • By syncing with another device, devices trusted on that device will also get added to your list on successful WiFi sync.

Discovered Devices (Not Yet Added)

  • Devices found on your network that are running SplashID Pro 9 and signed in with the same user account, but not yet added as trusted devices, appear at the end of the list.

  • They show the device form factor icon, name, Device ID, app version, and a + Add button.

  • Click + Add to add the device to your trusted list.
