How 2-Factor Authentication Works?

If you have enabled 2-Factor Authentication, you will receive a special authorization code every time you log in to SplashID Safe on a new computer, mobile device, or web browser.

  • For web access, you will be asked for the code if you are logging in from a browser where you have not used SplashID Safe before.

  • The code is normally sent to your registered email address, or via SMS if you have chosen the SMS option.

Troubleshooting Missing 2-Factor Codes

If you do not receive the email with your code:

  1. Check if you have enabled 2-factor for your account.

  2. Check your Spam, Junk, Bin, or Trash folders.

  3. If the email is not there, click or tap the Resend Code button in the 2-factor authentication dialog.

If you are using SMS for verification, make sure your phone has proper network coverage and can receive text messages.
