You can change your account email address directly from the SplashID Safe 8.4.x mobile apps.
On iOS/iPadOS:
Tap Menu (top left) → Settings → Change Email
On Android:
Tap Menu (top left) → Settings → Account Info → Change Email
When you change your email in one 8.4.x app, the update will automatically apply to all your other 8.4.x apps (mobile, desktop, and web if using Cloud Sync). You only need to change it once.
If you get an error, it may mean the new email address is already associated with another account. In that case, contact tech support for help.
Note: Once changed, you cannot switch back to your old email ID without support assistance. Contact tech support to clear your email change history if you need to revert.
Do not change email on Desktop or Web app: Changing the email via the 8.4.x Desktop app or 8.4.0 Web app may cause login problems. If this happens, contact support.
WiFi Sync users: Before changing your email, disable offline mode on all devices. You can re-enable it after the email update is processed. See Offline mode in SplashID Safe 8.x apps for WiFi and No sync users for more details.
Pattern passwords: If you use a pattern password, the Change Email screen may not allow entry. Use the text equivalent of your pattern password instead. Refer to How to change SplashID Safe 8.x account password? for more details.
Subscriptions: If your Yearly or Monthly subscription is directly with SplashID (not via iTunes/App Store or Google Play), contact support both before and after changing your email so we can transfer your subscription. Without this step, your apps may work temporarily but will eventually fail.
