How to backup 8.4.x Desktop/mobile apps' data + local backups info
Please note regardless of Sync mode used - No Sync/Standalone, WiFi Sync or Cloud Sync - we recommend using at least 1 mobile app and 1 Desktop app, as well as regularly do manual backup of all apps' data. For Desktop apps, backup to a local known folder. Plus, backup local automatic backups Desktop app has created manually too. This will ensure the local backups Desktop app creates will not be all lost in case the computer, its main disk drive or Windows/macOS is lost, damaged (such as due hardware issues or a virus/malware) or malfunctioned.
For mobile apps, Export to Dropbox is best. (requires a free Dropbox account)
For information on 8.4.x mobile app backups (such as iPhone, iPad, Android), please see here:
(due to technical limitations, our 8.4.x mobile apps keep no automatic backups - however, new 9.4.x mobile apps do)
